My professional career in manufacturing started as a machinist and I still have the passion for machining.  All reel seat hardware, reel seat inserts and custom grips are made one at a time on manual equipment to tool maker tolerances.  The only purchased components are the rod blank and the guides.  No other custom rod maker can make that same claim.

Personally Handcrafted

The only thing mass produced at KB2 are fine metal shavings and high grade sawdust.  All work is performed personally by Karl Webber, owner and only employee of KB2.  All rods are meticulously finished to exacting standards.

My Satisfaction Guarantee is real simple.  If you don't like it, I will fix it.  I will warranty all of my work for the life of the rod.  Not all rod blanks come with warranties, but if they do, that will be passed down to you, the customer.

You will not deal with a customer service department, all communication is direct between you and I.
